Ruger Glenfield Model A 308 Win 20" 4rd Moss Green Rifle

Ruger brought back the Glenfield name for a straightforward hunting rifle, and the Model A is it. Chambered in 308 Win, it pairs a 20" cold hammer forged barrel with a matte black alloy steel receiver and a synthetic stock in Moss Green Splatter. The splatter texture gives a sure hold without being rough on the hands, and a soft rubber buttpad takes the edge off recoil. The barrel is threaded 5/8-24 and comes with a thread protector, and a one piece Picatinny scope base is already installed. There are no iron sights.

The one piece, three lug bolt has a 70 degree throw for plenty of scope clearance, with a full diameter body and dual cocking cams for smooth cycling. Ruger's Power Bedding block locates the receiver and free floats the barrel, the same accuracy system used on the American rifle. The trigger adjusts from 3 to 5 lbs, and the tang safety is easy to see and reach. It feeds from a flush fit 4 round detachable magazine, carries sling swivel studs, weighs 6.3 lbs and measures 40" overall with a 13.75" length of pull. A light, no frills deer rifle that is ready for a scope and a suppressor.
