The Performance Center M&P9 M2.0 Competitor takes the M&P you already know and builds it for the match. Instead of the standard polymer frame it sits on an aluminum frame finished in Tungsten Gray, with a 5" barrel and a slide that carries lightening cuts on the top and sides to move the balance point back and keep the dot steadier through recoil. This is the 10 round version, and it comes with four 10 round magazines so you are not buying extras before your first stage.

The slide is cut for optics, with a green fiber optic front and a blacked out serrated rear for anyone still running irons. The M2.0 flat face trigger gets an enhanced sear for a lighter, crisper break. A flared magwell speeds up reloads, the oversized magazine release is reversible for left hand shooters, and four palmswell inserts (S, M, ML, L) let you size the grip to your hand. There is no manual thumb safety. A Picatinny style rail sits under the dust cover, and the M&P takedown lever and sear deactivation let you strip it without pulling the trigger. At about 29 oz it carries enough weight up front to stay flat in fast strings without feeling like a brick at the end of a long match day.
