About the Ruger Harrier 5.56 NATO
The Harrier is Ruger's AR pattern rifle, chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 16.1" government profile barrel and a 1/2-28 threaded muzzle wearing an A2 flash hider that can come off for other muzzle hardware. The bolt and carrier are nitrided with a staked gas key. Upper and lower receivers are machined from aluminum forgings to mil spec dimensions, and the lower carries a tension screw to take the play out of the receiver fit.
Furniture is Magpul. A MOE-K2 grip and a DT Carbine collapsible stock sit on a mil spec buffer tube, and one 30 round PMAG comes with the rifle. The free float handguard runs a slim profile with a full length Picatinny rail on top and M-LOK slots at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions plus eight more toward the muzzle. QD sling sockets are cut into both sides. The upper keeps a forward assist, dust cover and brass deflector, and the trigger is a standard GI unit, so anything a shooter wants to change later is a common part.
