Diamondback DB15 Extended Line 5.56 NATO 16" 30rd Rifle

The DB15 Extended Line is a no frills black AR-15 with the upgrades most people end up buying anyway already on it. A 15 inch free float M-LOK rail runs nearly the full length of the 16 inch barrel, giving room for a light, a laser and a bipod or sling mount. Furniture is Magpul MOE, with an MOE carbine stock and MOE grip. Receivers are forged aluminum with a black hardcoat anodized finish, the upper is an A3 flat top with no sights, and the lower is Diamondback's Carbon lower.

The barrel is a medium profile chrome moly vanadium barrel with black nitride, a 1:8 twist and a carbine length direct impingement gas system. It is chambered in 5.56 NATO, so it handles 223 Remington too, and the muzzle is threaded 1/2-28 with an A2 flash hider. The carrier is a shot peened, magnetic particle inspected Mil-Spec 8620 part, and the trigger is standard Mil-Spec. A Magpul Gen M2 30rd PMAG is included. At 6.6 lbs it is a light, honest rifle for a first AR, a truck gun or a duty style build that you can upgrade as you go.
