Ruger 6711 Sr1911 Commander 45 ACP 4.25 in 7+1 Stainless Slide Anodized Frame

The Ruger 6711 SR1911 Lightweight Commander blends the classic 1911 Series 70 design with modern machining and competition-ready features, and it's a handgun you'll enjoy carrying to the range or relying on for duty-style work; chambered in .45 ACP with a 7+1 capacity and a 4.25" stainless steel match-grade barrel mated to a low-glare serrated stainless slide, this Commander delivers positive barrel lock-up and tight slide-to-frame fit from Ruger's precision CNC process for out-of-the-box accuracy. The black anodized aluminum frame keeps weight down at 29.3 oz while a beavertail, checkered backstrap and hardwood grip panels give secure control; a skeletonized aluminum trigger with adjustable over-travel stop and a lightweight skeletonized hammer provide a crisp, short SAO pull and quick reset useful for timed stages or rapid defensive follow-ups. You'll appreciate the drift-adjustable Novak 3-dot sights, oversized ejection port, extended magazine release and slide stop for fast manipulation, plus the integral non-staked plunger tube and titanium firing pin for long-term reliability. With a polished titanium feed ramp, flat mainspring housing, rear slide serrations, visual loaded-chamber port and compatibility with standard 1911 aftermarket parts, this Ruger Commander is aimed at shooters who want traditional 1911 ergonomics in a lighter, serviceable package.
