Ruger American Predator 204 Ruger 22" 10rd 4-12x44mm Scope Rifle

The Ruger American Predator model 26952 comes ready to hunt: a 204 Ruger bolt action with a 22" heavy threaded barrel, a moss green synthetic stock, and a Vortex Crossfire II 4-12x44mm riflescope with the Dead-Hold BDC reticle already mounted. The 204 Ruger is a fast, flat shooting varmint round, and the heavier tapered barrel keeps the rifle steady through a string of shots at prairie dogs or coyotes.

Ruger's Power Bedding integral bedding block locates the receiver and free floats the barrel, which is how the American series earns its accuracy. The barrel is cold hammer forged and threaded 1/2-28 for a brake or suppressor. The one piece, three lug bolt has a 70 degree throw that leaves plenty of room for the scope, and the Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger can be tuned by the user for a crisp release. Feeding comes from a 10rd AI style detachable box magazine, and a tang safety sits right where your thumb lands. The stock has grip serrations, a soft rubber buttpad and sling swivel studs, and the one piece aluminum scope rail is installed. At 7.6 lbs it carries easily to a stand and settles quickly on a bipod or shooting sticks.
