Rock Island Armory M206 Spurless 38 Spl 2" 6rd Revolver

The M206 Spurless is Rock Island Armory's small frame snub nose built for carry. It holds 6 rounds of 38 Special and runs a 2" fully shrouded barrel. The hammer has no spur, so there is nothing on the back of the gun to snag on a shirt, a jacket lining or a pocket when you draw. The front sight is a fixed ramp and the rear is a smooth channel cut into the top strap, a setup that stays put no matter how often it goes in and out of a holster.

The frame, cylinder and barrel are steel with a black parkerized finish, and checkered wood boot grips keep the profile small while giving your hand something to hold. A transfer bar safety sits in the lockwork. At about 24 ounces unloaded it is light enough to carry all day but heavy enough to keep 38 Special recoil reasonable in a short barrel gun. It makes sense as a pocket or ankle backup, a nightstand revolver, or a simple first carry gun for someone who wants a wheel gun they can trust.
