Rock Island Armory M200 38 Spl 4" 6rd Revolver

The M200 is Rock Island Armory's no frills 38 Special service revolver. It carries 6 rounds in a steel cylinder, runs a 4" semi shrouded barrel, and fires in double action or single action. The longer barrel gives you a better sight radius and a little more velocity than a snub, and it balances well in the hand. Sights are a fixed ramp up front and a smooth channel cut into the frame at the rear, built to take daily holster wear without anything to knock loose.

The frame, barrel and cylinder are steel with a black parkerized finish, and a finger grooved polymer combat grip fills the hand and tames recoil. A transfer bar safety is built into the action, and the exposed hammer lets you cock it for a careful single action shot at the range. This is the kind of revolver that does one job without fuss: a nightstand gun, a truck gun, or a first handgun for someone who wants something simple to learn on. 38 Special is easy to find and pleasant to shoot, so practice stays cheap.
