Riley Defense RAK74 5.45x39 16.25" 30rd Polymer Rifle

The Riley Defense RAK74 Polymer is a stamped AK-74 pattern rifle chambered in 5.45x39mm, with black polymer furniture throughout. The buttstock is fixed polymer, and the upper and lower handguards include a heat shield so the rifle stays comfortable to hold through long strings of fire. It runs a 16.25" chrome lined barrel threaded M24x1.5 RH and feeds from 30rd magazines. Overall length is 35.25".

The receiver is stamped steel and fully heat treated, and the trunnion, bolt and carrier are forged for long service life. Riley builds in a bolt hold open safety lever and an extended magazine release, two upgrades that make reloads and bolt checks faster than on a traditional AK. A machined side rail accepts side mount optics, and the front and rear sights are both adjustable. The bayonet lug and cleaning rod keep the military layout intact, and the metal carries a black oxide finish. Black polymer holds up to weather and rough handling better than wood, which makes this a practical truck or range rifle.
