Radical Firearms Rad 556 5.56x45mm NATO 16 in 30 round Patriot Brown

The RAD 556 from Radical Firearms is an AR-15 series semi-automatic rifle built around a 16-inch barrel chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO, and its Patriot Brown finish gives it a rugged, service-ready appearance for range work, duty drills, and field use. The 15-inch RPR handguard provides a long, free-floating surface for consistent barrel harmonics and comfortable control during follow-up shots, and the 30-round capacity offers sustained engagement for training, competition, or defensive scenarios where rapid target transitions matter. As part of the RAD 556 line, this model balances mil-spec reliability with modern ergonomics, making it suitable for experienced shooters who want a dependable 5.56 NATO platform and newcomers looking for a straightforward entry into AR-style rifles; it ships as a semi-automatic configuration and requires an FFL transfer. You'll find the Radical Firearms RAD 556 excels on the range for zeroing and cadence work, handles duty-style drills with confidence, and performs in field applications where a durable, accurate 16-inch barrel and a secure RPR handguard deliver the control and repeatability shooters demand.
