One Horse OH-15 Mid Length 5.56 NATO 16" 30rd Rifle

The OH-15 is One Horse's complete AR-15, assembled with the parts a shooter would pick anyway rather than the cheapest components that would still function. The 16" barrel uses a SOCOM profile, leaving more steel ahead of the chamber where heat builds during long strings, and it is threaded 1/2-28 behind an A2 flash hider. This one runs a mid length gas system, which spreads the pressure curve over a longer dwell and gives a softer impulse and less wear on the bolt than a carbine gas setup on the same 16" barrel.

The handguard is an M-LOK rail, long enough to run a hand out toward the muzzle and take a light, bipod or sling mount anywhere along its length. Up top the receiver carries a Picatinny rail for optics and backup sights. The rest is mil spec: a standard charging handle, a mil spec buffer tube, an A2 pistol grip and One Horse's own M4 style 6 position stock. Bare weight is 7.14 lbs. A 30rd Magpul magazine comes with the rifle, and the aluminum receivers wear a black finish. It is a working carbine for the range, for training classes, and for whatever else gets asked of a 5.56 rifle.
