OA Defense 2311 Pro S Full Size 9mm 5" 21rd Pistol

OA Defense builds the 2311 Pro S on the same full size 2011 pattern frame as the rest of the Pro line, with an aluminum frame, a Picatinny rail, and a steel slide cut for a red dot on the RMR footprint. That footprint matters more than it sounds like it should, because it is the pattern most optics makers copy, so a wide range of sights will sit directly on the slide. The 5 inch barrel is DLC treated.

The gun is set up for shooters who run a dot and reload against a clock. Controls are fully ambidextrous, the magazine release paddle is extended, and a modular grip sits over an aluminum magwell that guides a magazine home. The trigger is an enhanced single action unit with a contoured slide riding above it. Two Magpul AMAG magazines come with the pistol, one 17 round and one 21 round, along with a cable lock and manual. A steel and aluminum pistol this size soaks up recoil in a way a lighter polymer gun cannot, which is most of the reason the 2011 pattern keeps turning up in competition and on duty belts.
