Mossberg MVP Patrol 7.62 NATO 16.25" 10rd Rifle

The Mossberg MVP Patrol is a bolt action carbine that feeds from AR-10 and M1A/M14 pattern magazines. MVP stands for Varmint and Predator Rifle, and this model is chambered in 7.62 NATO and 308 Win. A 10rd magazine is included, so you are not hunting for a proprietary box. The 16.25" medium bull barrel is threaded and comes with an A2 style muzzle device on it.

The stock is black textured synthetic and pillar bedded, which helps the action sit consistently from shot to shot. The LBA trigger is user adjustable, the bolt handle is oversized and the safety is a lever. Up top there is a Picatinny rail for your optic, and adjustable fiber optic rifle sights are there if you want to shoot without one. Metal is matte blued. It fits ranch work, range days and field use well, where a short barrel and a fast magazine change count for more than a long tube. A gun lock is included.
