Mossberg 590R Stand-Off 12 GA 18.5" 6rd FDE Shotgun

The 590R takes the proven 590 pump and adds AR style controls. The headline feature is the ambidextrous rotary safety selector, which works like the safety on an AR-15 instead of the usual tang button. This Stand-Off version has an 18.5" barrel with an integrated heat shield and a stand-off muzzle, a 3" chamber with a Cylinder Bore choke, and a six shell magazine tube. Barrel and receiver are finished in Flat Dark Earth Cerakote for wear and corrosion resistance.

There are no iron sights. Instead, a top Picatinny rail is set up for AR style red dots and optics. The furniture is black: a 5 position adjustable stock with a 12" to 15.25" length of pull, a Magpul MOE pistol grip, an interchangeable recoil pad, two QD ports, and a compact ergonomic forend. The trigger is a flat profile shoe with a clean break, and the loading port is enlarged and beveled with an exposed follower for faster reloads. It weighs about 7.1 lbs and comes in around 36.4" long, compact enough for vehicle or hallway use.
