MAC 1911 JSOC 45 ACP 5" 8rd Pistol

The MAC 1911 JSOC from Military Armament Corporation recreates the modified 1911s that special operations units carried through the 1980s and 90s, when armorers rebuilt surplus government pistols with the best competition upgrades of the day. MAC builds it with a forged carbon steel frame and slide, a 5" 416R stainless match barrel with an 11 degree crown, and internals based on the Colt Series 70 design. The finish is QPQ Tenifer, a hard, corrosion resistant surface treatment that looks right on a hard use gun.

The details are what make it a JSOC gun. You get a lowered and flared ejection port, rear cocking serrations, 25 LPI checkering on the front strap and flat mainspring housing, an extended beavertail grip safety and a competition magwell. Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety, an extended magazine release, a skeletonized hammer and a skeletonized adjustable trigger with a titanium firing pin inside. Sights are a Bomar cut adjustable rear with a brass bead front blade, and MAC logo Turkish walnut grips finish the look. It comes with two 8 round magazines, a cleaning kit and a lockable hard case.
