Les Baer 1911 Premier II 9mm 5" 9rd 1.5" Guarantee Pistol

The Les Baer Premier II is a 1911 in 9mm Luger with a 5 inch barrel and a 9 round magazine. It is a single action pistol, built the way Les Baer builds everything: tight, deliberate and meant to shoot small groups. This version carries the 1.5 inch accuracy guarantee.

The slide wears a dovetailed ramp front sight and a low mount adjustable rear sight, so you can zero it for your load and your distance. The front strap is checkered at 30 lines per inch for a locked in grip, and the Baer Speed Trigger gives you the clean single action break a 1911 shooter expects. Baer Premium checkered grips finish off the frame, and the whole gun is blued. The 9mm chambering makes the Premier II easy to shoot a lot. Recoil is mild in a full size 1911, and 9mm gives you an extra round in the magazine over the 45 ACP guns. It makes sense as a bullseye or steel match gun, a serious range pistol, or a nightstand gun for someone who shoots a 1911 best.
