Langdon Tactical Tech Beretta 92 Elite 9mm 4.7" 18rd Stainless Pistol

Langdon Tactical builds this one on Beretta's 92 Elite, and the work Ernest Langdon's shop does to a 92 is the reason the gun exists as its own model. The action is the same open top, locking block short recoil design that has been running in military and police holsters since the eighties, but the trigger has been gone through so the double action stroke stays smooth all the way to the break and the single action reset is short. That combination is what makes a hammer fired pistol worth carrying against a striker gun.

The slide is Inox stainless with serrations front and rear and a factory optic cut, so a red dot mounts without sending the gun out for milling. A 4.7" stainless barrel sits under it and the frame is aluminum with a Picatinny rail for a light. The two tone look is not only cosmetic, since a stainless slide holds up better than a coating on a pistol that gets carried and sweated on all summer. Magazines hold 18 rounds. This is a heavier pistol than a polymer gun of the same capacity, and that mass is exactly why 9mm out of a 92 shoots as flat as it does. Full size frame, sized for a duty holster rather than a pocket.
