Kimber Rapide Dawn 45 ACP 5" 8rd Silver Pistol

The Kimber Rapide Dawn is a full size 1911 in 45 ACP built as a range and target gun that still looks sharp in the safe. The stainless frame and slide wear Kimber's silver KimPro II finish with brush polished flats, and the 5 inch stainless match grade barrel carries a gold TiN coating that holds up to wear and adds a little color at the ejection port. Stepped cocking serrations and lightening cuts in the slide speed up the slide cycle and give you plenty to grab for press checks.

Up front is a TruGlo TFX Pro day/night sight with an orange ring, which picks up fast in daylight and glows after dark. Kimber's Stiplex front strap texture and gray and black G10 Rapide grips keep the gun locked in your hand. The V-cut aluminum trigger is set around 4 to 5 pounds and breaks clean, the way a single action 1911 trigger should. Capacity is 8 rounds of 45 ACP in a single stack magazine, and the pistol weighs about 38 ounces empty, so recoil stays soft and follow up shots come quick.
