KelTec RDB Defender 5.56 NATO 16.1" 20rd ODG Rifle

The KelTec RDB Defender takes the standard RDB and the RDB Survival and combines them into a light duty 5.56 NATO bullpup. It comes with an aluminum M-LOK handguard, a collapsible stock and a 16.1 inch pencil profile barrel, and it feeds from standard AR-15 magazines. Rated capacity is 20 rounds. The RDB ejects spent brass straight down through the stock behind the magazine well, so left and right handed shooters run it the same way, and the magazine release, safety and reversible operating handle are set up for either hand.

Every RDB runs on an adjustable gas piston system, so you can tune bolt carrier speed to tame recoil when shooting suppressed and keep the rifle reliable with different loads. KelTec put real work into the trigger, which is smooth with some take up and a clean break, an area where many bullpups fall short. The bullpup layout keeps a full 16 inch class barrel in a package that is easy to handle in a vehicle or around the house. This version has an OD Green polymer receiver, stock and grip with a black barrel.
