Grand Power Q1S Mk23 9mm 3.66" 12rd Pistol

The Q1S is Grand Power's compact carry pistol, derived from the Q100 but with a shorter, more concealable grip. It keeps the same barrel and overall length as the Q1 and shrinks the grip down to something close to the P11 in size. The heart of it is a rotating barrel locking system that uses a rolling pin and a specially curved barrel surface, which Grand Power credits with less recoil and less muzzle flip for faster follow up shots. The 3.66" barrel feeds from 12 round magazines.

It is striker fired with a smooth single action pull and a trigger safety that works automatically, plus an automatic internal safety, so there is no manual lever to sweep off. The polymer grip has a steel insert that serves as the frame and an enhanced texture for a firm hold. The Mk23 version is optics ready out of the box, with four mounting plates for the common red dot footprints. Three 12 round magazines, a trigger lock, a bore brush and the owner's manual are included. Unloaded weight is about 1.43 lbs.
