This TAC3 series rifle runs a mid-length gas system with an M16-style bolt and HP/MPI-tested bolt carrier group and H buffer for smooth, controllable recoil, and the free-floated Hodge Defense wedge-lock M-LOK handguard with proprietary barrel nut reduces deflection while preserving a continuous 12 o'clock rail for optics and backup sights; the platform ships optics-ready so mounting red dots or low-power scopes is straightforward.
