Faxon Firearms FX7 Hunter 308 Win 22" 5rd ODG Rifle

The Faxon FX7 Hunter in 308 Win is a complete bolt action rifle on Faxon's FX7 short action. The 22" Medium Sporter barrel is stainless with a black nitride finish, a 1:10 twist and a recessed target crown, and the muzzle is threaded 5/8-24 for a brake or suppressor mount. It sits in an OD Green polymer stock, holds 5 rounds and runs AICS and AW pattern detachable magazines.

Under the stock is the same FX7 action Faxon sells for custom builds: a stainless receiver in matte DLC, a flame fluted six lug bolt that locks up in two rings of three, and a 70 degree bolt lift that keeps your knuckles off a big scope. The 20 MOA Picatinny rail and recoil lug are part of the receiver, so the scope goes straight on. A TriggerTech Rem 700 Primary trigger comes installed, and because the action uses the Remington 700 short action footprint, triggers, stocks and chassis for that pattern bolt in later. In 308 Win it covers deer, hogs and elk at practical hunting ranges, and the threaded muzzle makes adding a suppressor simple.
