Dickinson Adam 1911 Titan 45 ACP 5" 8rd Pistol

The Adam 1911 Titan is a full size 45 ACP from Dickinson's 1911 line. The frame and the barrel are forged steel, and the slide is machined on CNC equipment so the fit between the two parts stays consistent from gun to gun. The barrel is finished in black, the slide carries B pattern serrations, and the frame is cut with a beavertail at the tang. The barrel measures 5" and the magazine holds 8 rounds of 45 ACP.

Steel is the story on this one. A forged frame and a forged barrel put real weight in the hand, and the slide rides on a frame made of the same material rather than a lighter alloy. The B pattern serrations give the fingers a square edge to pull against when you load the chamber or check it. The beavertail lets the shooting hand sit high on the frame, close to the bore line. The layout follows the 1911 pattern the model is named for, in the full size 5" format that pattern was drawn around, and the single action trigger works the way anyone who has run a 1911 expects it to.
