The Adam 1911 Olympia is a full size 45 ACP in Dickinson's 1911 line. The frame is forged steel with a beavertail cut at the tang, the barrel is forged steel as well, and the slide is machined on CNC equipment to the line's dimensions. Magazine capacity is 8 rounds of 45 ACP.
Forged steel front to back is what the Adam line is built on, and the Olympia is the plainest expression of it in the range. There is no plating, no two tone treatment and no decorative barrel finish listed on this configuration, which leaves a straight steel full size 1911 in the original chambering. The beavertail lets the shooting hand ride high against the frame so recoil travels back through the wrist rather than over it. The single action trigger and the 8 round magazine are what the pattern has always used.
