About this product
The DWX came out of CZ and Dan Wesson working on one gun: a 1911 single action trigger and fire control group inside a CZ 75 profile frame, fed by double stack magazines. This one is chambered in 9mm with a 4.95 inch match grade barrel and a 19 round magazine. The black DLC slide has front cocking serrations and is optics ready, and it carries a fiber optic front sight over an adjustable rear.
There is no 1911 barrel link. The locked breech, bushingless barrel comes out through the slide stop the way it does on a CZ, which makes cleaning quick. Red textured aluminum grips, flat 25 LPI checkering on the mainspring housing and front strap and a beveled magwell help on fast reloads, and standard CZ 75 grips and matching magwells fit the frame. You also get a 1913 Picatinny rail for a light, a skeletonized hammer, an ambidextrous thumb safety and a swappable magazine release. At about 45 ounces with 19 rounds on board, it is built for competition first and runs flat between shots.
