CVA Cascade XT 25 Creedmoor 4rd OD Green Rifle

The Cascade XT is the upgraded version of CVA's Cascade, and the changes are the ones that matter when a rifle gets carried and shot rather than looked at. The barrel is a medium contour Bergara unit with fluting cut into it, heavier than the base gun so it balances a little further forward and settles faster between shots. A radial muzzle brake sits on the threaded muzzle, and an oversized bolt knob replaces the small round knob, which is the difference between working the action in gloves and fumbling it.

The barreled action wears a graphite black Cerakote finish and the receiver is drilled and tapped with a 20 MOA Picatinny rail, so a scope has elevation to spare before the turret runs out at distance. Chambering is 25 Creedmoor feeding from a 4 round magazine. The stock is an adjustable synthetic in OD Green with black webbing, and the trigger is adjustable. For a hunter stepping up from an entry level rifle without going to a full chassis setup, the XT collects the upgrades that usually get added one at a time and puts them on the gun from the start.
