Combat Armory CA-15 5.56 NATO 7.5" 10rd M-LOK Slim Rail Pistol

Combat Armory's smallest AR-15 pistol configuration pairs a 7.5" barrel with a 7" slim M-LOK rail and a 10 round magazine. It is about as compact as the AR platform gets while still arriving as a complete, assembled firearm rather than a receiver and a shopping list. Receivers are aluminum with an anodized black finish and mil-spec internals throughout.

The barrel runs an M4 profile with a Melonite finish and M4 feed ramps cut into the extension. Threads at the muzzle are 1/2-28, so any standard device for this chambering screws straight on. The slim handguard keeps the front end narrow, and on a gun this short that diameter has more to do with how it feels in the hand than the overall length does - there is not much gun out front to hold onto in the first place. M-LOK slots run along it for a light or a hand stop. The 10 round magazine makes this configuration workable in capacity restricted states with no hardware changes. Chambering is 5.56, which means ammunition turns up anywhere that sells centerfire rifle rounds.
