American Tactical Alpha Maxx 5.56 7.5" 30rd Pistol

The Alpha Maxx is American Tactical's take on the AR pistol, and the thing that separates it from the rest of the rack is the receiver set. Both the upper and the lower are polymer rather than aluminum, which pulls real weight off a gun that is already short. The barrel runs 7.5" in 5.56 NATO, keeping overall length down to something you can actually maneuver inside a vehicle or a hallway. A 7" M-LOK handguard covers most of that barrel and gives you flat, snag free real estate to hang a light, a hand stop or a sling mount wherever your hands want them rather than where a fixed rail says they go.

The upper is a flat top, so the top rail runs uninterrupted from the receiver forward and an optic sits wherever you mount it. No sights come on the gun, which is standard practice on a build like this and leaves the choice between a red dot and folding irons up to the buyer. Out back the receiver extension carries a rear brace. The magazine well takes standard AR-15 pattern magazines and one 30 round magazine comes with the pistol. Controls are the AR manual of arms most shooters already have wired, so there is nothing new to learn if you have run a carbine, and the parts bin for this platform is the deepest in the industry.
