Andro Corp Industries ACI-15 Halo 5.56 NATO 10.3" 30rd Pistol

A 10.3" barrel is the classic short 5.56 length, and it is a smarter place to sit than eight inches if the plan is supersonic ammunition. The extra barrel keeps more velocity in the bullet and calms the muzzle blast down, while the gun still handles in tight spaces the way a full carbine cannot. Andro Corp runs a carbine length gas system here on a .750 low profile gas block, which is the correct pairing for this barrel and part of why the rifle cycles softer than a shorter gassed gun.

The barrel is nitrided and threaded, the bolt carrier group is an M16 profile unit, and the 9" M-LOK handguard has slots for a light or a sling mount. The upper is machined to mil spec dimensions with T markings and includes the forward assist, dust cover and ejection port assembly. Down below sits a mil spec lower parts kit, an A2 grip and an SB Tactical SBA3 adjustable brace. Both receivers are hard anodized black. One 30rd magazine is included. It is an honest AR pistol with no surprises in it, taking standard magazines, standard small parts and any optic with a Picatinny mount, which makes it as easy to live with five years from now as it is today.
