Combat Armory CA-15 5.56 NATO 7.5" 10rd M-LOK Full Rail Pistol

The full Picatinny top rail is the feature that defines this Combat Armory build. Where a slim handguard gives you a strip of rail only at the very front, a full rail runs unbroken from the receiver to the end of the handguard, so back up irons, a magnifier or a night vision device can sit anywhere along that line and still share a sight plane with the upper. M-LOK slots handle everything that does not need to be on top.

The pistol underneath is Combat Armory's standard AR-15 build: aluminum receivers, anodized black, mil-spec internals installed. The 7.5" barrel uses an M4 profile with a Melonite finish and M4 feed ramps, and the muzzle is threaded 1/2-28. A 7" handguard on a 7.5" barrel means the rail covers essentially the entire front end of the gun. One 10 round magazine comes with it, which keeps the configuration legal where capacity is limited. Chambering is 5.56. The combination of the shortest practical barrel and the most mounting surface available makes this the version to buy if you are putting a lot of hardware on a very small gun.
