About the Colt EPR II Pro
EPR stands for Enhanced Patrol Rifle, and the EPR II is the second take on the pattern Colt has been supplying to agencies for years. Colt describes it as the next step on its established carbine platform, built from proven TDP components with mil spec materials, coatings and finishes. The barrel is 11.5" in 5.56 NATO, which puts this one in short barrel rifle territory.
The Pro trim is where this version separates from the standard EPR II. Sights are Magpul MBUS Pro folding units, and they stay out of the way of an optic until you need them. The charging handle is a Radian Raptor, which is ambidextrous and easy to run with a support hand. The grip is a Magpul MOE-K2 and the buttstock is a Magpul MOE SL. Controls are ambidextrous throughout. The rail is M-LOK compatible and a Surefire flash hider caps the muzzle.
