About the Colt EPR II 5.56
The standard EPR II is Colt's Enhanced Patrol Rifle without the Pro trim, and for a lot of buyers that is the right call: the parts that matter are the same and the ones that got simplified are the ones most people swap anyway. Barrel length is 11.5" in 5.56 NATO, short enough to clear a doorway and short enough to be classified as a short barrel rifle. Colt builds it from proven TDP components with mil spec materials, coatings and finishes.
Sights are Magpul MBUS 3 folding units, which fold flat under an optic. The buttstock is a Magpul MOE SL and the rail is M-LOK compatible, so lights, sling mounts and hand stops attach without adapters. A Surefire flash hider caps the muzzle. It is a plain, serious patrol gun in a short package.
