Chiappa Firearms LA322 Carbine 22 WMR 18.5" 10rd Rifle

The LA322 is Chiappa's take on the classic American rimfire lever gun, here in 22 WMR. The carbine has an 18.5" steel barrel, a tube magazine that holds 10 rounds, and a takedown design that lets you separate the buttstock from the action for transport and storage. The alloy receiver and barrel wear a matte black finish.

The pistol grip wood stock and wood forend give it a traditional look and a solid hold. Sights are a hooded front and an adjustable buckhorn style rear, and a 3/8" dovetail on the receiver takes a rimfire scope mount when you want glass for small game. At about 5.5 lbs it carries easily through the woods and points quickly. The 22 Magnum cartridge hits noticeably harder than 22 LR, which makes this carbine a good fit for squirrels, rabbits and varmints at moderate ranges, and the lever action makes every shot a little more fun at the range.
