Henry H1 Western 22 WMR 18.5" 12rd Rifle

Henry's H1 Western is a rimfire lever gun with a pistol grip stock, and that stock is the entire reason it exists as a separate model. A straight grip is the traditional shape; the curved pistol grip on the Western fills the hand differently, drops the wrist a little, and gives the rifle a profile closer to an old west carbine. It is a small change that you notice the first time you shoulder it.

Under the wood it is standard Henry. A round blued steel barrel, a tubular magazine holding 12rd of 22 WMR, and an action that runs smooth out of the box. The aluminum receiver is grooved 3/8" for rimfire scope rings, and the factory sights are a hooded blade up front with a fully adjustable semi buckhorn in back. At about 5.25 lbs it carries easily on a long walk through the timber. 22 WMR is a meaningful step up from 22 LR on small game and pests out past a hundred yards, and a tube that deep means you are not reloading between shots. American walnut with checkering finishes it off, and the whole rifle carries the fit and finish Henry has built its name on.
