Browning BAR MK3 DBM 308 Win 18" 10rd Rifle

The BAR MK3 DBM takes Browning's classic autoloading hunting rifle and gives it a detachable box magazine that holds 10 rounds of 308 Win, set into a proper magazine well so reloads are fast and positive. The 18 inch hammer forged fluted barrel keeps the rifle short and handy for stand hunting, thick timber and hog work. The barrel wears a matte blued finish over a matte black aluminum alloy receiver, which keeps weight down.

Like every BAR it runs on a gas piston system with a seven lug rotary bolt, and three complete rings of steel surround the cartridge. That lockup is why the BAR earned its reputation for bolt action accuracy in a semi auto, and the gas system cuts felt recoil so follow up shots come quickly. The stock and forearm are satin oil finished Grade II Turkish walnut with checkering, a full pistol grip with an undercut, and a hand filling forearm. A crossbolt safety, gold plated single stage trigger and sling swivel studs round it out. There are no iron sights; the receiver is set up for optics with Picatinny style scope bases.
