Bergara B-14 Hunter 308 Win 22" 4rd Rifle

The B-14 Hunter is the rifle Bergara built for big game hunters who want a barrel maker's accuracy in a production rifle. This one is chambered in 308 Win with a 22" steel barrel finished in Graphite Black Cerakote. The receiver is drilled and tapped and takes Remington 700 pattern bases with 6-48 screws, so scope mounting is easy to source.

The B-14 action is a two lug design with a sliding plate extractor and a coned bolt nose and breech, which makes feeding and extraction smooth. The Bergara Performance trigger breaks clean. The molded synthetic stock is glass fiber reinforced polymer with bedded integral pillars for a stable action, and its SoftTouch coating in speckled green gives a tacky grip in rain and cold. Four rounds load into the internal magazine, which unloads through a hinged floorplate, and swivel studs are in place for a sling. 308 Win covers deer, hogs and elk at sensible ranges, and loads for it are easy to find. If you want one rifle that rides in the truck all season and holds zero, this is a straightforward choice. Right hand bolt with a manual thumb safety.
