Weatherby 307 Alpine CT 280 AI 22" 4rd Rifle

The Weatherby 307 Alpine CT in 280 Ackley Improved is a light carbon rifle on the Model 307 action, Weatherby's two lug, fully cylindrical design that sits next to the Mark V and Vanguard. The cylindrical footprint opens the door to a wide range of aftermarket stocks, triggers, rails and mounts. This one holds 4 rounds in the magazine, with a hinged floorplate, and weighs about 6.3 lbs.

The PEAK 44 Bastion carbon fiber stock weighs just 24 oz and uses a 3D-Hex recoil pad. Up front is a 22" BSF carbon fiber barrel in a #4 contour with a 1:9 twist, threaded 5/8-24 and fitted with the Accubrake DST directional self timing brake, which adds 2" to the overall barrel length. A TriggerTech trigger and tool free bolt takedown finish the action. The receiver and brake are chocolate brown Cerakote, the bolt and knob graphite black Cerakote, and the stock is exposed carbon with WYO brown sponge pattern accents. The 280 AI shoots flat and hits hard enough for deer and elk, and this rifle is light enough to carry wherever they go.
