Winchester Xpert Thumbhole Target 17 WSM 18" 8rd Brown Rifle

The Xpert Thumbhole Target is a bolt action rimfire chambered in 17 WSM with an 18" button rifled bull barrel and a Bentz style chamber. The trigger is Winchester's Rimfire M.O.A. unit. The laminated wood stock uses a thumbhole grip and an adjustable comb, so the cheek weld can be set to match whatever optic height the rifle ends up wearing rather than forcing the shooter to crane over the receiver.

The muzzle is threaded 1/2-28 and a thread protector is included, and a Picatinny rail comes with the rifle for mounting glass on the matte black steel receiver. Sling swivel studs are fitted. A bull barrel and a laminated stock put weight on the rifle compared to a slim sporter, which is what a target rimfire is supposed to do, since mass under the forend is what keeps the crosshairs still. 17 WSM is a rimfire magnum, so this one sits between a 22 rimfire plinker and a centerfire varmint rifle.
