Winchester 1873 Competition Carbine 357 Mag 20" 10rd Rifle

The Winchester Model 1873 Competition Carbine High Grade is built for cowboy action shooters racing the clock. The action has been performance tuned with a shorter, smoother lever stroke, so cycling takes less movement and less time between targets. It is chambered in 357 Magnum and also fires 38 Special, the same rounds most competitors carry in their revolvers.

The carbine keeps the classic 1873 look. The steel receiver, side plates, lever, barrel band and carbine buttplate are color case hardened, and a saddle ring rides on the receiver. The 20 inch round barrel is button rifled with a polished blued finish, and the full length tube magazine underneath holds 10 rounds. The Grade III/IV walnut stock has an oil finish and a straight grip. The top tang is drilled and tapped for an optional peep sight, which is sold separately. It weighs about 7.25 lbs and measures 39 inches overall, light enough to swing quickly from one target to the next.
