Smith & Wesson 1854 357 Mag 19.25" 10rd Stainless Rifle

The Model 1854 is Smith & Wesson's modern lever gun, and this version pairs stainless metal with a black synthetic stock in 357 Magnum. The 19.25" stainless barrel has a 1:14" twist and is threaded 5/8-24 at the muzzle with a thread protector, and the forged stainless receiver carries a Picatinny style rail for optics. The tube magazine holds 10 rounds, and it is removable, so you can unload without running every round through the action.

The longer barrel gets more velocity out of 357 Magnum than a carbine length gun, which helps on deer at woods ranges. A flat trigger with a crisp break, a large loop lever with room for gloves and a crossbolt safety make up the controls. Sights are a gold bead front and an adjustable XS ghost ring rear. M-LOK slots on the forend take a light or sling mount. The synthetic stock has textured grip panels, and the stainless steel holds up to weather better than blued steel. It weighs about 7 lbs and runs 36" overall.
