About this product

The Winchester Repeating Arms Model 1892 Deluxe Takedown is a lever action rifle that brings classic John Browning design into a modern, usable package with a polished blued 24" full octagon barrel, 1:18.75" twist and an 11+1 capacity chambered in .357 Magnum for fast follow-up shots on the ranch or at the range. The takedown configuration and 41.50" overall length make transport and storage straightforward while the Grade V/VI walnut fixed stock with curved grip and color case hardened steel receiver, forearm cap and buttplate deliver authentic styling and durable handling for cowboy action shooters and hunters alike. A top tang safety and top tang drilled-and-tapped receiver allow safe carry and optional peep sight mounting, and the semi-buckhorn rear with Marble Arms gold bead front sight provides clear sighting for brisk target transitions. At about 7 pounds and featuring a curved trigger, this lever-action rifle balances tradition and practical performance for small to medium game, duty use around livestock, or competitive western shooting; note that an FFL transfer is required for purchase.
