Inspired by the rugged beauty of the Black Hills, the Weatherby Vanguard Black Hills is built to thrive in any environment. Chambered in 308 Winchester with a compact 18" barrel, this bolt-action rifle is purpose-built for hunters who value maneuverability in thick timber and steep terrain without giving up Vanguard's proven precision.
The Vanguard action delivers sub-MOA accuracy with a cold-hammer-forged barrel, two-stage trigger, three-position safety, integral recoil lug, fully enclosed bolt sleeve, and M16-style extractor. All metalwork, including the barrel, receiver, bolt, bolt knob, and safety, is finished in Matte Blued for corrosion resistance.
The black polymer Monte Carlo stock is accented with green and tan paint for a distinctive Black Hills look. The Black Hills edition ships equipped with premium PEAK 44 accessories, including an optics-ready Picatinny rail and an Arca/Pic adapter on the fore-end for bipods and accessories. FFL transfer required.
