About the Weatherby Vanguard Arctic Pro
6.5 PRC in a 20 inch barrel is a compromise made on purpose, giving you a magnum 6.5 in a rifle short enough to carry all day and short enough to stay reasonable with a suppressor hanging off the threaded muzzle. The Vanguard action carries a SUB-MOA guarantee. The barrel is cold hammer forged, the metal is white Cerakote, and the synthetic Monte Carlo stock is hand painted in an arctic pattern. Peak 44 rails come fitted, 20 MOA on the action and ARCA plus Picatinny on the forend.
PRC is 6.5 CM with more case behind it. The extra powder buys real velocity, which turns into less drop and less wind drift on elk sized game at distance. A 20 inch barrel hands some of that back, but the cartridge still runs ahead of anything in the standard class. Recoil climbs with the speed, which is why the brake is included. Shoot it braked, shoot it suppressed, or pull both off and go hunt.
