Howa M1500 Fence Line 6.5 PRC 24" 3rd Prairie Reaper Camo Rifle

Prairie Reaper is the pattern for country that has more dirt in it than trees, and pairing it with 6.5 PRC says plenty about what Howa expects this rifle to do. Long shots across open ground on animals that will not let anybody get closer. The Howa 1500 barreled action has been in production since 1979 and comes with an accuracy guarantee of 1" or better at 100 yards, which is a rare thing to find attached to a hunting rifle rather than a target rig. The barrel is hammer forged and the HACT two stage trigger is fitted as standard, a detail that separates this from most rifles built to the same brief. Bolt throw is 90 degrees with dual locking lugs, and a spring loaded M16 style extractor pulls the case clear. The three position safety gives an unload on safe position and a bolt lock position for transport, which is the setup most hunters want and rarely get without asking for it.
