The Weatherby Mark V Backcountry 2.0 Ti in 280 Ackley Improved is built around a titanium Mark V action and a thin, fluted #1 MOD barrel 24 inches long. It holds 4 rounds and weighs about 4.9 pounds, which puts a flat shooting 7mm class cartridge in a rifle light enough for long climbs.

The Peak 44 Blacktooth carbon fiber stock is left in bare carbon with a white and gray pattern, and the second generation 3DHEX recoil pad uses collapsing internal voids to soften the kick.
