The Weatherby Alpine MDT Carbon Model 307 is a modern bolt-action hunting and precision rifle built to sit alongside the Mark V and Vanguard series, offering a 2-lug fully cylindrical action that accepts the wide aftermarket selection of stocks, triggers, rails, mounts and magazines available today. With an MDT HNT26 carbon fiber chassis and foldable buttstock that collapses over 9" for compact transport and glassing from tight blinds or bumping packs on alpine hunts, this rifle blends light weight with field-ready rigidity; the BSF carbon barrel is shorter than Weatherby's traditional offerings for improved maneuverability while still delivering match-grade accuracy and includes Weatherby's Accubrake DST (Directional Self-Timing Brake) to reduce recoil and speed follow-up shots. Finished in Carbon Grey Cerakote on the receiver and Graphite Black on the bolt and bolt knob, the Alpine MDT Carbon is designed by Weatherby and manufactured in partnership with MDT to give competitive shooters and long-range hunters a chassis rifle that shoots and travels well.
