Weatherby Vanguard Weatherguard Bronze 25-06 Rem 24" 5rd Rifle

Built for hunters who spend long days in bad weather, the Vanguard Weatherguard Bronze covers its barrel, receiver and trigger guard in burnt bronze Cerakote. The synthetic Monte Carlo stock is black with bronze webbing, with a raised comb and a right side palm swell. Chambered in 25-06 Remington, it carries a 24 inch #2 contour cold hammer forged barrel threaded 1/2-28 for a brake or can.

Few cartridges shoot flatter for the recoil than the 25-06, which is why it has been a favorite on pronghorn flats and open deer country for generations. Weatherby guarantees this rifle will put three shots into .99 inch or less at 100 yards with Weatherby factory or premium ammunition. Inside you get a fluted one piece bolt, a fully enclosed bolt sleeve, an M16 style extractor and an integral recoil lug. The 5 round magazine sits over a hinged floorplate, the two stage match trigger is adjustable, and the 3 position safety lets you unload with the safety engaged. Sling swivel studs and a recoil pad come standard.
