Tisas Regent BR9 9mm 4.67" 15rd Nickel Pistol

The Regent BR9 is the Tisas reproduction of the Browning Hi Power, the design that armed more militaries through the twentieth century than any other pistol. This one is finished in nickel with wood grips, which is close to how most shooters picture the gun in its prime. Underneath the dress it is a working Hi Power: single action, hammer fired, running a 4.67" barrel and a 15 round magazine. Two magazines come in the box.

Hi Power grip geometry is the reason the design refuses to die. The frame is thin through the tang and the grip angle points naturally for most hands, which is a large part of why the platform still moves against modern polymer guns. Tisas builds the Regent series on current production machinery, so slide to frame fit is tighter than what you will find on most surplus era examples. The nickel is more than cosmetic as well, since it handles sweat and handling better than a thin blue does.
