Tisas 1911 D10 10mm 5" 8rd Two Tone Pistol

The D10 is Tisas putting a full size 1911 in 10mm, which is the chambering the platform arguably should have had from the start. A 10mm pushes a heavy bullet hard out of a 5" barrel, and an all steel 1911 soaks up the recoil that makes the cartridge unpleasant in lighter guns. The internals follow the Colt Series 70 pattern, so there is no firing pin block linkage dragging on the trigger and the break stays clean. Frame and slide are both forged, the ejection port is lowered and flared, and the trigger guard is undercut so the hand rides higher on the gun.

The two tone treatment pairs a blasted stainless frame with a black slide, and the fiber optic front sight picks up light fast in a range bay or under trees. Cocking serrations run front and rear, the thumb safety is ambidextrous, and the grips are G10. Two 8rd magazines come in the box. Tisas builds these with features usually reserved for custom shop 1911s, and the D10 is that package for shooters who want more out of a steel frame pistol than a 45 gives them.
