Smith & Wesson's Performance Center took the M&P 10mm M2.0 and stretched the slide out to 5.6" with porting cut through the barrel and the slide. Ten millimeter rewards a heavy gun and punishes a light one, so the added slide mass plus the ports keeps the muzzle from climbing the way it otherwise would. Follow up shots come back on target faster than most people expect out of the caliber, and the longer sight radius helps at distance.

The Performance Center tune on the flat faced M2.0 trigger is the other half of the package: a cleaner break and a shorter, more audible reset than the standard gun gives you. Optic height tritium night sights sit on an optic ready slide, so a red dot goes on without losing the ability to aim with irons through the window. Four interchangeable palmswell inserts adjust the frame circumference to your hand, and the frame carries a Picatinny rail up front. This is the ten round configuration built for capacity restricted states, and it comes with two magazines and a thumb safety.
